Even though your friend or family member has guest access to your Slingbox, you are still its administrator and owner.
How you add a guest user
There are two ways to add/manage a Guest User to your Slingbox.
You can navigate to the top navigation bar and select Guest+ icon
Note: Only the account owner will see this icon:
Or through Settings (via the following steps)Step 1. Log in to your Sling Account, select your Slingbox in the Directory, then click Settings.
In Settings, click Add/Remove Guests.
To invite a guest using email, enter their email address. Click SEND INVITE
to send them an invitation to share your Slingbox 350 or 500. To invite a guest using Facebook, go to Step 5 below.
Step 4. The guest user receives an email (see below) with a link to accept the invitation as well as learn more about how a Slingbox works!
Step 5. To invite a guest using Facebook, first log in to your Facebook account if you're not already logged in. Click the Facebook tab and then click CONNECT. Specify the privacy options as needed for the Slingbox app in Facebook.
Step 6. Click the field under the Facebook tab to view your Facebook friends.
Step 7. Select the Facebook friend that you wish to invite, type any message you want to add in the message window that appears, and click Send.
After your friend or family member accepts your invitation, they can watch your Slingbox!
Remember, only one person can access and change channels on your Slingbox at a time. See the article linked below for more details.
What if I want to remove someone as a guest user?
It's easy! Just navigate to Settings and click Add/Remove Guests to view your current list of guest users. You can then click the X next to the name of the user you would like to remove.
