  • You can only configure your Slingbox using IE or Firefox on Windows, or Safari or Firefox on Mac OS X. To set up a Slingbox M1 or a Slingbox M2, you must use Slingplayer for Desktop.
  • Watch on Slingbox.com only works with the 32-bit versions of the Windows-based browsers listed above.

To allow SlingPlayer to run on OS X 10.9 Mavericks, you may need to perform a few extra steps to adjust your security settings when installing the plug-in.

Difficulty installing the SlingPlayer plug-in on Chrome
If you try to install or update the plug-in for Watch on Slingbox.com on Chrome, and you receive a message indicating that extensions can only be added from the Chrome Web Store as shown in yellow below, please follow the directions here to download the plug-in.

Some Windows browsers must run in 32-bit mode to work with Watch on Slingbox.com
