Difficulty installing the SlingPlayer plug-in on Chrome

If you try to install or update the plug-in for Watch on Slingbox.com on Chrome, and you receive a message indicating that extensions can only be added from the Chrome Web Store as shown in yellow below, please follow the directions here to download the plug-in.

  1. Save the plug-in file to your computer. On Windows computers, it is automatically saved to your Downloads folder.
  2. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
  3. Select Tools > Extensions.
  4. Locate the plug-in file on your computer and drag it to the Chrome Extensions page.
