Using the Slingbox Directory
For most home users, only one Slingbox appears. But if you're a real Slingbox fan with more than one Slingbox, you see them all listed. If you use SlingPlayer on a network (such as at work), you may also see more than one Slingbox listed in the Slingbox Directory.
Here is how you can use the Slingbox Directory in Watch on Slingbox.com.
|What do you want to do?||How to do it in Watch on Slingbox.com|
|Connect to or disconnect from a Slingbox||From the Slingbox Directory scrolldown list, select the Slingbox that you want to watch.|
To disconnect from a Slingbox that you're currently watching, simply click Disconnect, or close the Watch window.
|Add a new Slingbox||New units like the Slingbox 350 and 500 are added automatically, but for older Slingboxes, click your Sling Account email address at the top right of the window. Click Slingbox Directory on the left side of the window that appears. Click Add a Slingbox at the bottom of the Slingbox Directory. In the window that appears, provide the information about the Slingbox and click Save. The new Slingbox now displays in the Slingbox Directory.|
|Edit the details of a Slingbox||To edit a Slingbox 350 or Slingbox 500 in your Sling Account, select it in the dropdown Directory list, and then select Settings. Next to the name of your Slingbox, click Edit to change the name, and then click Save.|
For all other Slingboxes, click your Sling Account email address at the top right of the window. Click Slingbox Directory on the left side of the window that appears. Find the Slingbox you want to edit from the Slingbox Directory, and click Edit on the right. In the window that appears, you can change the name of your Slingbox or its password.
|Remove a Slingbox from the Slingbox Directory||If connected, disconnect from the Slingbox in the Watch window, then choose Delete Slingbox in the Directory dropdown menu. Confirm the deletion if you are sure.|
Alternatively, for older Slingbox units, click your Sling Account email address at the top right of the window. Click Slingbox Directory on the left side of the window that appears. Find the Slingbox you want to remove from the Slingbox Directory, and click Remove on the right.
About the Slingbox Directory Dots
The Slingbox Directory displays a colored dot for each Slingbox. This is what those dots mean:

|The Slingbox is on your local network, and is available for viewing.|
|The Slingbox is on your local network, but is busy (already in use).|
|This is the Slingbox that you're currently connected to.|
|This Slingbox is available via the Internet.|
