Changing Aspect Ratio (Video Zoom)
Broadcast video can be shown in differing screen formats, among them: standard television aspect ratio (4:3), Letterbox, Pillarbox, Windowbox, and Anamorphic. SlingPlayer can be adjusted to handle these various formats.
Try each of the different options to see which one gives you the best picture.
To change video aspect ratio:
- Choose Video Zoom from the View menu, then choose the zoom setting that you want.

This fits an image in standard format within a wide screen. There are black bars on both sides of the image that fill the extra space. |
