I just got SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry. How do I get a Sling Account?
If you're using SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry, having a Sling Account helps you get even more out of having SlingPlayer on your BlackBerry. A Sling Account keeps track of your Slingbox ID info, your Channel Favorites, and more ... so whenever you log in to your Sling Account from SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows or from your BlackBerry, you have your Channel Favorites and your Slingbox connection info at your fingertips.
Best of all, getting a Sling Account is easy and free. Here's how to create a Sling Account:
- From SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows: If you have SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows installed on your computer, you can open your Sling Account there. Just launch SlingPlayer, then click Log in (in blue type) in the upper-right corner of the viewing window. In the window that appears, you can either log into an existing Sling Account or create a new one. Don't yet have SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows? Click the Downloads link above to get it.
- On the Web: You can also create your Sling Account, and add information about your Slingbox, using our Sling Accounts web site. But be aware that, for this method, you need to have your Slingbox ID.
