I got a new cable or satellite set-top box and now I can't control my TV
If your cable or satellite provider has sent you a new set-top box, or if you've received a new set-top box because you switched to a different TV provider, you must reconfigure your Slingbox to work with the new hardware.
It's very simple to get things going again, but you must know the administrator password for your Slingbox. You'll need it in order to make these changes.
Follow these steps to get your Slingbox reconfigured to support your new set-top box.
Here are the steps for Watch on Slingbox.com

While in the same network as your Slingbox (usually when at home), go to Setup on Slingbox.com

Log in to your Sling Account if prompted.

Select your Slingbox

If prompted, enter the administrative password for this Slingbox.

Click the Configure Inputs button.

Select the Slingbox input that you need to reconfigure, then click next.

Follow the onscreen instructions for locating that particular set-top box.
Here are the steps for SlingPlayer for Windows

Open SlingPlayer for Windows.

Make sure you are logged in to your Sling Account.

Select Setup Assistant from the Settings menu.

If prompted, enter the administrative password for this Slingbox.

Click the Configure Video Sources link.

Select the Slingbox input that you need to reconfigure.

Here are the steps for SlingPlayer for Mac

Open SlingPlayer for Mac.

Select Slingbox Directory from the Slingbox menu.

When the directory opens, click once on the Slingbox you want to update, then click Edit.

Click on the Configuration tab.

Click the Change Audio/Video Setup button.

If prompted, enter the administrative password for this Slingbox.
