Determining Slingbox Software version
Here's how to find out what version of Slingbox Software is installed inside your Slingbox.
There are four ways ... choose your method depending on preference and where you're located:
- Visit the Slingbox Support page—there's a link to the right. On the Slingbox Support page, make sure you're logged into your Sling Account.
The Slingbox Software is listed, along with other information about your Slingbox.
- Using Watch on Slingbox.com—click Options, above the video screen.
The Slingbox Software is listed as Firmware Version.
- Using SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows—Choose Slingbox Directory from the Connect menu. Click to select your Slingbox, then click Edit. Click the Information tab.
The Slingbox Software is listed as Firmware version.
- SlingPlayer for Mac—Choose Slingbox Directory from the Window menu. Click to select your Slingbox, then click Edit. Click the Information tab.
The Slingbox Software is listed as Firmware version.
