Can I use an IR Extender to extend the range of the remote control for a SlingCatcher? Can I use one with a Slingbox?

IR Extenders are relatively new devices to the market. They allow you to extend the range of handheld remote controls, so you can roam all over the house and control your TV or other device. While they may be convenient, not all devices are compatible with them.

SlingCatcher
SlingCatcher is compatible with Logitech's Harmony Remote Control series and should be compatible with their Harmony IR Extender. Contact Logitech for more details.

Slingbox
Slingboxes are controlled by your computer or mobile device (either at home or over the Internet). A Slingbox doesn't have a physical remote control, so it's incompatible with IR Extenders. A Slingbox uses the virtual remote control built into our SlingPlayer software on your computer or on the screen of your mobile device.
