How audio and video pass-through works on your Slingbox

Any audio or video source output will pass through the Slingbox to the corresponding input on the television.

As the graphic examples below outlines, you would route your audio/video as follows: Audio/video output of your set top box > Audio/video input of Slingbox > Audio/video output of Slingbox > TV audio/video input:

Please note: You can't mix and match plug types. Component won't pass to composite, etc. It's a 1:1 relationship. If you use component input, you must match that to component output to utilize pass-through.
