Privileges (permissions) error when installing SlingPlayer for Mac

If you get a "you do not have sufficient priveleges" error message when you try to install the SlingPlayer application, don't worry. It's easy to fix.

The error message will say:

FinderScreenSnapz001.png

This typically happens when you have an older version of SlingPlayer in your Applications folder and you drag the new one from the opened SlingPlayer disk image (slingplayer.dmg) to the same folder.  Instead of the old one being replaced by the new one, you get this error message.

To fix this, just drag the old version of SlingPlayer out of your Applications folder and put it into the Trash. Then you'll be able to copy the new version to your Applications folder.
