Can't seem to find the volume control within SlingPlayer for Windows Mobile?

In certain devices, the volume keys will work only when the taskbar is present.


If you are having difficulty finding the volume control while streaming fullscreen with SlingPlayer for Windows Mobile, it may be the result of the taskbar being hidden. This is the normal, "as-designed" behavior for the following devices:

  • HTC Touch Pro2

The SlingPlayer software is unfortunately limited by the device behavior. With the device above, typically this means you can't adjust the volume in SlingPlayer by pressing the volume keys on your device while streaming fullscreen.


However, there is a workaround: After pressing the volume keys, you may see your device taskbar reappear onscreen, and at that point you should be able to adjust the volume normally.
