Why can't I find SlingPlayer in the iTunes Store?
To see (and use!) our latest version of SlingPlayer for iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, you need to update your device to iOS 4.2 (or higher).
What is iOS? How do I update it?
Apple refers to its mobile operating system as iOS. iOS is the software that your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad is running.
Your iOS device is updated through the iTunes application on your computer. To check the version, attach your device to your computer, launch iTunes, select your device, and look under Summary:

If you need to update, click Check for Update and follow the onscreen prompts. After the update has completed, you should be able to see SlingPlayer in the iTunes Store or via the App Store app on your device:
