This document, for Sling Media's B2B partners, gives a starting point for setting up accounts within the Sling Media Partner Support Portal.
What is the Sling Media Partner Support Portal?
It's the place where Sling Media's partners can escalate their customer issues to the Sling Media Support Engineering team. In response, the Sling Media Support Engineering team fixes the problem, or communicates with the appropriate engineering, marketing or bizdev teams. This assures that Sling Media partners get the right answers.
The Partner Support Portal runs on the same platform as the Slingbox customer discussion forums.
Once we've given your group access to the support portal, you can access a specific set of communities within the forum. These communities offer a way to report issues, track open bugs, and discuss topics directly with your Sling Media Support rep.
How do I get started?
Here's how:
- Visit the public Slingbox customer discussion forums, called Slingbox Answers Forum.
- Create a Sling Account using your work email address (if you haven't already).
- Log in to the forum with the account you just created.
- Send your Sling Media Support contact an email.
Let them know that you have logged in to the forum, and are ready to be added to your group's support portal.
