Will SlingPlayer for Android Tablets work with my Slingbox?

SlingPlayer for Android Tablets will only work with the Slingbox PRO-HD or the Slingbox SOLO. If you have an older Slingbox, you need to upgrade before using this application.
If you are from the UK and are using a SlingLoaded HDS-600RS Freesat HD recorder, you must use SlingPlayer for Android Phones rather than SlingPlayer for Android Tablets.

Which Android tablets are supported by this version of SlingPlayer?

Thus far, we haven't found any Android tablets that CAN'T run SlingPlayer! While there is no free trial, you can install SlingPlayer for Android Tablets to see if it works on your tablet - there is a 15-minute refund period available through the Android Market.

SlingPlayer for Android Tablets is only available from the Android Market, either over the air via an internet-connected tablet, or via a computer and the Android Market online website.

What do I need to run SlingPlayer for Android Tablets?

You first need to download the application from the Android Market. SlingPlayer for Android Tablets is supported on supported Android tablets that are running Android OS 3.0 or later. Additionally, you need:
- A Slingbox PRO-HD or a Slingbox SOLO connected to the Internet with a router;
- You need to configure your Slingbox and create a Sling Account using Setup on Slingbox.com from a supported web browser on your computer (see the articles linked below);
- The firmware on your Slingbox must be up to date. (The firmware is normally updated automatically, but if not, Setup on Slingbox.com helps you to update your firmware.)
