You can easily use modern Macs with Watch on Slingbox.com with your Slingbox PRO-HD, Slingbox SOLO, and Slingbox PRO. However, you can only watch TV, you can't set up your Slingbox using your Mac and the web. For setup, you need the standalone version of SlingPlayer for the Mac. Here's more info:

The Web-based Slingbox Setup Assistant and SlingPlayer features on slingbox.com are optimized to work with these Slingbox models:

• Slingbox PRO-HD
• Slingbox PRO
• Slingbox SOLO

If you have an earlier Slingbox model (like the original Slingbox Classic, Slingbox TUNER, or Slingbox AV), you might be able to set up your Slingbox and use Watch on Slingbox.com (if you're using a Windows PC). But these Slingbox models aren't supported with slingbox.com and haven't been tested with it.

Instead, we recommend that you use the desktop versions of SlingPlayer (either Windows or Mac OS) to watch your TV with these earlier Slingbox models.
