  • Can I get SlingPlayer for iPhone for my iPhone or iPod touch?
  • SlingPlayer for iPhone is available for the iPhone (iPhone 3GS and later) and iPod touch (3rd Generation and later) from the US, Canadian and UK iTunes App Store.
  • How do I get it?
  • The only way to get SlingPlayer for iPhone is to buy it directly from the iTunes Store.

  • Will it let me watch TV over the cellular network?
  • Yes! When used with an iPhone 3GS or later, this version of SlingPlayer for iPhone will work over Wi-Fi and 3G cellular networks.

  • Does SlingPlayer for iPhone support video out options?
  • Yes! This version of SlingPlayer does support video out, as long as you have the proper cables/adapters (available from Apple).

  • What do I need to run SlingPlayer for iPhone?
  • You first need to download the application from the iTunes App Store. SlingPlayer for iPhone is supported on Apple iPhone (3GS and later) and iPod touch (3rd Generation and later) models. Additionally, you need:

    • A Slingbox PRO-HD or a Slingbox SOLO connected to the Internet with a router.
    • Up-to-date firmware installed on your Slingbox. (If your Slingbox needs updating, our software first asks your permission, then does the update for you.)
  • I have an older Slingbox, iPhone, or iPod touch model. Can I use SlingPlayer for iPhone?
  • SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone is only supported to work with the Slingbox PRO-HD or the Slingbox SOLO; and the iPhone 3GS (or later) or the iPod touch (3rd Generation or later). If you have an older Slingbox, iPhone, or iPod touch, we strongly encourage you to upgrade to the latest hardware to get the best experience.

    This version of SlingPlayer may work with the original Slingbox, the Slingbox PRO, Slingbox AV, and the Slingbox TUNER, but we cannot guarantee a good experience ... or that it will continue to work in the future. It won't work with older iPhone or iPod touch models.

  • Is there a free trial?
  • All SlingPlayer for iPhone sales are handled through the iTunes App Store, which does not offer free trials.

  • Where do I get help with billing or download problems?
  • If you have a billing or download problem, please visit the iTunes App Store support site.

  • I already own SlingPlayer for another mobile device. Can I use that registration key?
  • No. Because the iTunes App Store is handling the sale of SlingPlayer for iPhone, you cannot transfer SlingPlayer Registration Keys from other versions of SlingPlayer to SlingPlayer for iPhone.
